Anna - it's not fake

- I have had dry and sensitive skin my entire life. As a child, I had extremely dry skin in the creases of my elbows and knees and was prescribed ointments by the doctor. Later in life, the dryness got worse on my neck, eyelids, arms, and hands. The doctors told me that I had to learn to live with it and that the solution was more ointments.

Today, I still have slightly dry and sensitive skin, but it is free from extreme dryness and has been detoxified from all strong ointments. My experience is that these are not the solution to all skin problems! Today, I know that this type of skin problem comes from within and is just a sign of some imbalance in the body.

With sensitive skin, you become something of an expert on all the creams and brands on the market. I have probably tried most creams, oils, and ointments, and this has made me skeptical when something new comes along.

A little over two years ago, I had a period of severe skin problems and was looking for something that could help me. I visited the health food store and got two Q for Skin testers and found that they were actually really good! I went back and bought Quick Repair Cream, Blackcurrant Oil and also a jar of blackcurrant capsules. Over the following year, I took 4 blackcurrant capsules a day and used the cream and oil daily on my sensitive skin. I got better and better!

Then Christmas came and money was tight. I got a little stingy and bought Omega-3 algae capsules from another brand, thinking that they would surely work just as well. The algae capsules are cheaper, and are Q for Skin's Blackcurrant Capsules really that good? After 3 weeks of testing, I was convinced. I went back to the health food store and bought my beloved Blackcurrant Capsules. Maybe I needed to prove to myself that these capsules are worth the price and really work! It's not fake. Combining cream, oil, and capsules helps strengthen the skin and body both inside and out.
