How Nikki's blushing and blushing decreased

- Now I don't need any makeup at all anymore— it's such a relief!

Nikki

When I was 27 years old, I developed severe redness and pimples on my face. At the time, it wasn't a big deal for me: I had the problem for a few months, went to the doctor, was prescribed antibiotics for a few months, and the problem was solved. About ten years later, the problem returned, at first gradually, but over time it got worse, with hives covering my entire face and even my collarbone and chest. At times, I also experienced redness, hot flashes, and tight skin that appeared immediately if I ate or drank anything strong.

In the years between the first outbreak and the recurrence, I had become deeply interested in nutrition and health. Taking a several-month course of antibiotics to alleviate the symptoms no longer felt like an option, and I wanted to address the problem naturally.

Diet matters

Basically, I already ate a relatively "clean" diet: essentially vegan and without refined sugar, gluten, or additives. So there wasn't much left to experiment with, but I tried different variations such as eating raw food for a period (I had already done this for a year), eating more or less only fruit for a period, drinking green juices, smoothies, and kombucha, excluding various foods such as potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, etc., and even taking supplements such as chlorella, MSM, selenium, silicon, and others. Some things had an effect for a few months, but each time the discomfort returned and continued to get worse and worse.

At the same time, I tried out different skin care products and facial treatments. I don't know how much money I spent on complete product lines, which sometimes gave good results in the beginning, but without exception, the discomfort returned after a few months.

- Finally, in October 2017, after struggling with skin problems for 4-5 years, I had a brainwave when I was in a health food store in Gothenburg and asked if there was anything left that I hadn't tried, and then I was recommended Blackcurrant capsules from Q for Skin. No sooner said than done, I bought a jar of capsules and then went to the Q for Skin website and read about the concept.

In the customer stories on the website, I saw that many people saw results after just a few weeks, so a month later, when I didn't see any difference at all, I was honestly super disappointed. I booked a phone consultation anyway, and there I was advised not to settle for blackcurrant capsules, but to also add Quick Repair Cream, Blackcurrant Oil and Cleansing Milk, and preferably Sea Buckthorn Capsules as well. I was also advised to give it six months, not just a few weeks.

I must admit that I was quite skeptical. But since I had already bought so many different products over the years, why not try one last option?

Six months later, in May 2018, my skin was hardly perfect, but I had finally started to see enough of a difference to decide to extend the "trial period"—and after that, my skin quickly began to change dramatically. At the end of July/beginning of August, I still had a few pimples, but compared to being completely covered in them, my skin felt almost perfect.

In recent years, I haven't shown myself outdoors without thick layers of mineral makeup, and now I don't need any makeup at all anymore— it's such a relief!
