Our customers share their experiences with Cradle cap

Cradle cap the scalp is very common in young children – but help is available. Read our customers' amazing stories and find out how their babies got rid of their Cradle cap.

Henry's mother explains:

- When my baby was about two weeks old, he developed yellowish-white flakes where the suction cup had been. What I did was massage Blackcurrant Oil into hisscalp in the evening. The next day, I picked off the loose flakes. I also helped by rubbing gently with a towel. I did this until all the flakes disappeared.

My scalp was fine again after 7 days, and it would probably have healed faster if I had done it every evening. In hindsight, it doesn't matter because the scab disappeared so quickly and easily anyway. All that remains on my scalp now is a small mark from the suction cup.

Absolutely fantastic!

Ian's mother explains:

- My baby started getting Cradle cap he was about a month old. At first, we tried regular baby oil and brushing his head during bath time. It kept it under control, but it hardly got any better. Instead, we tried a scab treatment. It worked, but it smelled awful and was also quite expensive.

Then I got a tip about Blackcurrant Oilfrom Q for Skin and decided to try it. Success! I rubbed it on the baby morning and evening for a few days, and during the next bath, I took a soft brush and scrubbed a little. Almost everything disappeared at once, so grateful!

"Since Elton got rid of his scales, his hair has grown faster. I would follow the same routine with Elton's older brother, who still has some signs of Cradle cap."

- Elton's mother

Elton's mother recounts:

- When my son Elton was 8 months old, I realized it was time to tackle his Cradle cap. I took blackcurrant capsules myself and used blackcurrant oil in his bath. I added a massage with blackcurrant oil to his scalp every day and removed the loose flakes.

I kept up this routine for 3 weeks, but I actually saw visible results within a week, almost everything was gone. Since Elton got rid of his flakes, his hair has been growing faster. I would follow the same routine with Elton's older brother, who still has some signs of his Cradle cap.
