The scalp is supposed to have a natural fatty acid mantle that protects the scalp. When we wash with conventional hair care, this fatty acid mantle is also washed away as these shampoos contain washing surfactants that are dehydrating. Unfortunately, the result is often that the scalp starts to itch due to dryness, but also because the microflora may have been disturbed. This can then become the basis for, for example, coatings, dandruff and dryness flakes. It is also worth mentioning that the skin is deprioritized in a stressed body and therefore only gets building blocks if there is "something left over". Our experience is that when you add blackcurrant oil from the inside out, building blocks are added to the body so that it can prioritize your scalp.

For common Scalp discomfort , it may be enough to wash your hair with our special shampoo, Quick Relief Shampoo, which helps to restore the microflora of the scalp. However, if you have problems with dryness and / or dryness flakes, we recommend that you also add essential nutrition to the scalp with blackcurrant seed oil. Blackcurrant Oil (unscented) or Intensive Nourishing Serum (with a mild natural scent) helps to restore the problems caused by dryness.

That depends on how long you've had the issue and how severe it is. If the problems have been ongoing for many years, it may take more time to restore balance to the scalp.

Initially, we recommend massaging the oil into your scalp every evening and washing your hair with Quick Relief Shampoo in the morning for the first two weeks. After that, it’s individual—some need to maintain the routine more regularly, while others can reduce the frequency.

We’ve chosen not to use SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate), but instead SCS (Sodium Coco Sulfate), a cleansing agent derived from coconut oil. This surfactant is much milder on the skin and a far more environmentally friendly alternative.

The shampoo cleans effectively and does produce some lather, but not nearly as much as traditional shampoos with stronger foaming agents.

Just like hairdressers recommend, we suggest washing twice: first to remove dirt, oil, and styling products, then a second time to work up a lather and ensure your hair is thoroughly clean and fresh.

If you are used to traditional shampoos, it may take a few washes before your hair gets used to the milder surfactants.

This can happen if too much oil is applied or if it's applied incorrectly. Instead of spraying the oil directly onto the scalp, spray a small amount into your palm, then lightly dip your fingertips into the oil and gently massage it into the scalp. This should be done in the evening before bed.

In the morning, brush your scalp and hair with a soft natural bristle brush to help remove any buildup or dry flakes. After brushing, wash your hair with Quick Relief Shampoo, and if needed, apply Q Conditioner to the ends of your hair before rinsing.

This is a common issue and often caused by the scalp being too dry. When the scalp lacks natural fats, it becomes stressed and tries to compensate by overproducing oil. At the same time, the balance of the scalp’s microflora can become disrupted, which may lead to itching, flaking, or irritation.

We recommend using Intensive Nourishing Serum, an oil-based serum that hydrates and helps restore scalp issues caused by dryness. Gently massage it into the scalp in the evening and leave it on overnight.

In the morning, wash your hair with Quick Relief Shampoo, a treatment shampoo that helps rebalance the scalp’s microbiome. Use it like a regular shampoo, and for best results, wash your hair twice.
